Deep in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, surrounded by rolling vineyards and the natural beauty of Lone Feather Vineyard, a new home rises as a testament to the region’s stunning landscape. Featured in Luxe Magazine, this remarkable home seamlessly blends modern design with the tranquility of the countryside, creating a peaceful sanctuary where nature and architecture exist in perfect harmony. Designed by Rick Berry and his team—architect Brian Campbell and interior designers Cameron Cruse and Kate Heerspink—the home was built with a deep respect for the surrounding environment, and its kitchen stands out as a stunning centerpiece of this vision.

At Caesarstone, we’re honored to have our surfaces play a role in this masterpiece, where our Raw Concrete countertops and backsplash bring both beauty and functionality to a space designed to stand the test of time.

Design Inspired by Nature

The Willamette Valley’s rich terroir and breathtaking landscape provided the perfect inspiration for the design of this home. As interior designer Cameron Cruse explains, the goal was to create a space that feels deeply connected to the land. “We wanted the materials to echo the landscape—the soil, minerals, clay, and wood,” says Cameron. This vision is brought to life through the use of natural materials like cedar, oak, and Douglas fir, which flow effortlessly between the exterior and interior of the home.

The design fosters a seamless transition from the outdoors, with large windows that draw in the panoramic vineyard views, inviting nature to become a key feature in every room.

Function and Style in Perfect Balance

In this home, simplicity and function are key. The kitchen is the heart of the home, offering a clean, minimal aesthetic that doesn’t compromise on practicality. By incorporating wood cladding and blackened steel elements, the design creates an atmosphere that is both refined and grounded in nature. Panel-ready appliances ensure that the kitchen maintains a sleek, unified look, free of unnecessary distractions.

“The goal was to create a kitchen that felt calm, serene, and connected to the landscape,” Cameron shares. “By echoing the exterior materials inside, we reduced any visual barriers and made the kitchen feel like a natural extension of the home.”

Caesarstone’s Raw Concrete for Lasting Beauty

One of the standout elements of this kitchen is the use of Caesarstone’s Raw Concrete in a honed finish for the countertops and backsplash. This surface was chosen not only for its raw, organic texture but also for its durability—a critical factor in a kitchen that will see daily use and the occasional spill of wine or olive oil.

“The beauty of Raw Concrete is that it brings a soft, tactile feel to the space,” says Cameron. “The matte finish and organic texture work perfectly with the exposed concrete elements throughout the home. We wanted the kitchen to feel authentic and timeless, and Caesarstone gave us exactly that.”

The versatility of Caesarstone’s surfaces is also a big part of why it was the perfect choice for this project. The Raw Concrete finish enhances the earthy tones throughout the kitchen while offering the durability needed in a busy home. “We knew this material would stand up to the demands of the kitchen and maintain its beauty for years to come,” Cameron adds.

A Timeless Addition to an Inspired Home

The kitchen in this Oregon vineyard home is a perfect example of how great design and exceptional materials come together to create a lasting impact. With Caesarstone’s Raw Concrete countertops, the kitchen’s minimal, earthy aesthetic is balanced with the durability and low-maintenance qualities that Caesarstone is known for.

“We wanted a space that would not only be beautiful today but would also age gracefully alongside the home,” Cameron says. And just like the vineyard surrounding the house, the design will grow richer over time—becoming an integral part of the homeowners’ lives.

At Caesarstone, we’re proud to be a part of such a thoughtfully crafted space, where nature and design come together to create a kitchen that is as functional as it is beautiful. The timeless elegance of Caesarstone surfaces makes it the perfect choice for a home that celebrates the beauty of the natural world, with every detail carefully designed to enhance both the architecture and the lives of those who live there.
